Regina

Reported by Devendra Cheatham, Pavaka Ritchot 10.0 km

Our new team member and true Canadian Pavaka led the way into town from our campground.

We had a great start to the day at the Regina YWCA.

The children had no shortage of soulfulness.

Some had a short fuel-up after meeting the kids. Here we see a trio of Kiwis enjoying a refreshing drink.

Special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Xu, Chinese Medicine practitioner, for treating Homagni for free after his back started giving him trouble.

And also Monique from Factory Optical. She saved Nayaja, who had broken her glasses irreparably, by finding her some frames that fit her lenses.

We were delighted to be welcomed by the Regina Open Doors Society, which provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina.

The children had a blast running around the park with the Peace Torch.

New friends.
