Karnataka, Dharmasthala - Karnataka, Bengaluru

Reported by Atul Arora

In the morning we visited the temple of Manjunath (another name for hindu god Shiva).

The temple had long queues and we were waiting for an hour. So we decided to spend some time with the locals and visitors.

These people are known as Sadhus or Monks.

A decorated temple priest.

Around mid day we travelled towards Bengaluru.

We could not resist the temptation to get our hands on these juicy fruits.

and other could not resist the temptation to told our torch.

We passed through some mountain range and had a quick halt near a small but picturesque waterfall.

Passing the torch to local tourists.

After another day of experiencing the Indian Hindu culture and scenic beauty we arrived at Bengaluru in the evening.

Torch carried by
Ashok Parulekar (India), Devarupi Buczkowska (Poland), Mena Seguy (France).
