Running to breakfast in Cardiff

Our gratitude to Nick and all his staff at the Terra Nova Cafe for fueling us with a tasty Welsh breakfast!

On Sunday 13th March we start the day running into the National Botanic Garden of Wales near Carmarthen

The runners run towards Laugharne, where the famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas lived and wrote.

This is the tiny writing shed where Dylan Thomas would spend many hours looking out over the estuary and writing.

Hannah Ellis, the granddaughter of Dylan Thomas greets the runners at the home where her mother and grandparents enjoyed several happy years.

The bench is in commemoration of Hannah's mother, Caitlin Thomas, who lived here as a child.
