Today the Peace Run Team will participate in the Self Transcendence 100K/50K race in Perth, Scotland.

Some will run and some will help. For the helpers it is an early start.

The 100K started at 7am. The Self-Transcendence 50k Race started at 10am and the Peace Run Team members running included Rasmivan, Paramanyu and Vera from the International Team. At the start of the 50k we presented the Torch and told all the competitors about the Peace Run. Paramanyu ran his first lap with the Torch.

Paramanyu even happier he is finishing 21 loops and 50km.

This race is also the Anglo Celtic Plate - a competition between the top runners from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Here are the Scottish women runners.

Ross Houston sprinting to the finish line to achieve a new 50km Scottish record in 2:56:37. He beat Don Ritchie's 50K road recoed by a few seconds!

Paul Navesey from England won the 100K in 6:58:52. Melissa Venables, also representing England, won the Ladies 100K. Ross Houston from Scotland won the 50K and Hannah Oldroyd from Saltaire Striders won the Ladies 50K.
