At the Boys and Girls Club in Kingston, Washington, we were greeted by the security guard there who was excited to hold the torch with us.

The children were very enthusiastic about participating in our guessing games.

Some children have no problem finding peace in the heart during one of our quiet exercises.

Some of the children accepted our gifts of gratitude for inviting us here today.

We are grateful to Karen Jones, Unit Director of the Club, for organizing this event with our good friend and local coordinator, Jagadambika.

The club had a nice setting for a short Peace Run with the children after the ceremony.

Nice smiles are encouraging when the children offer their hopes and wishes as we pass the torch around.

Afterwards the children invited us to relax and enjoy their club.

Some of the children entertained us with their musical skills.

One young boy, age 11, was superb at singing and accompanying himself on the ukelele.

Deputy Mayor, Cheri Kidd, greets us at the Gateway Center in Port Angeles.

Deputy Mayor Cheri Kidd kindly offered a Proclamation to the Peace Run from Port Angeles as she graciously spoke of the important friendship between Canada and the U.S.

We then received a very soulful and sincere blessing from a local Lutheran Minister who expressed his understanding of our mission and how important it is to share peace worldwide.

Our last run of the day was a two mile uphill climb to the local Boys and Girls Club in Port Angeles.

One local gentlemen was so inspired as he saw us pass by that he joined us in the run.

The children at the Boys and Girls Club were quite enthusiastic and responsive to our program outdoors in the playground.

Some of us took the torch to Olympic National Park for a short but scenic run.

One of the rangers there was inspired to offer her goodwill and smiles with the torch.

The trail we took was quite lush and scenic.

Our hotel for the night in Port Angeles was situated at the foothills of the Olympic Mountain Range.

A beautiful sunset from behind the hotel was a perfect way to end an exciting and peaceful day, our last day before bringing the torch to Canada.
