Dublin

Reported by Sadanand Magee

On a beautiful blue sky morning we revisited three schools to place plaques at the Peace Trees we had planted earlier in the year. The first plaque was placed at the Peace Tree in Dublin 7 Educate Together National school.

The next plaque was placed at the Peace tree in Broombridge Educate Together School. We were very happy to see that the trees were healthy and well looked after. They are without leaves for the winter but will grow quckly next year.

The next plaque we placed at Glasnevin Educate Together.

We then pay a visit to North Dublin National School Project. The children were very enthusiatic and had many questions for us.

The children take a moment to hold the Peace torch and make a wish for Peace.

At the front of the school we plant another beautiful Peace Tree. Sadanand puts his landscaping skills into action.

The pupils from 6th class help gahter for the tree planting and pass the Peace torch to one another.

Principal Donald, accepts a painting for World Harmony on behalf of the school.

Natalia, our local Peace Run coordinator joins Principal Donald beside the plaque.

Torch carried by
Ambarish Keenan (Ireland), Gianluca Marangon (Croatia), Natasha Romanova (Ireland), Nha Nguyen (Vietnam), Sadanand Magee (Ireland).
