Reported by Subimal Alfredo De Joannon

Saraswati Day is a traditional Balinese holiday to celebrate the day when knowledge is given by God to humans through the goddess Saraswati.
Like many Balinese holidays, Saraswati Day is held every six months, on Saturday of the last week in the Balinese calendar system.
The day is celebrated by making offerings and praying, in temples, schools, offices and at home.

In Bali every school has temple, and on Saraswati Day teachers and students offer rituals: singing mantras, dancing traditional dances.

Peace Run was invited by some schools as special guest to participate to the Saraswati Day ceremonies representing the Culture of Peace in teh Ceremonies.
