Zagreb - Island Brac

Reported by Roxana Magdici 10.0 km

The 1st of October awakens the Peace Run Team with a wonderful sunshine and the word "Mir", which means Peace in Croatian, at the school of Voltino in Zagreb.

Feeling peace in our own hearts and spreading it all around the globe...

The International Runners from Serbia, Slovenia, Brazil, Ukraine, Italy, America, Australia, Romania, Great Britain and Croatia run to the next school, known with the name of Rudes.

Where does Peace start? Raise your hand if you know the answer...

Children and teachers get tremendously inspired and excited hearing about Harmony among runners from such different countries...

And they can feel the powerful effect of the flame!...

They prepared wonderful words about being all One, with our own colors and differences, in a more Peaceful world...

Goga, the coordinator of the Peace Run in Croatia, is cheerfully welcomed by the school of Vrbani, led by a young and inspiring principal.

Which good actions are the girls showing to the students? They are sharing the lunch with a girl who doesn't have it.
What about you? Are you able to recall a good action that you did today?

Excited, joyful and amazed in the presence of the Peace Torch!

After a minute of inner silence in our own hearts, the children get very excited at passing the Peace Torch.

Heavenly 'Strukli' with fresh cow cheese is offered to the already hungry Team :P

The International Peace Run Team meets some national runners and the Sports and Recreation Minister of Zagreb (in the picture he wears a blue shirt).

Mr. Salil Wilson, the International Coordinator of the Peace Run, shares a few words about Sri Chinmoy, the founder of this project, with the national press.
