Tisovec - Detva

Reported by Danica Cernakova, Varunavi Klabnikova 82.0 km

Members of the Tisovec football club were waiting for us in front of the Šťavica spring to run with us 1,5km until the Tisovec square.

Zverenci futbalového klubu Tisovec nás čakali ráno pred prameňom Šťavica, aby si s nami zabehli 1,5 km až na námestie v Tisovci.

Such a nice audience was waiting for us at the Tisovec square. Some of them were raising their hands without any hesitation, when we asked them if they liked sports.

Takéto milé publikum nás čakalo na námestí v Tisovci. Niektorí z nich sa hlásili o stošesť, keď sme sa ich pýtali, či radi športujú.

A little football player is getting ready for his first pantomime goal.

The Mayor Mgr. Irena Milecová reassured the citizens of Tisovec that she will wish for them in silence only the best.

Sometimes the little ones are able to feel the most the inner message of our Peace Torch.

Niekedy tí najmenší vedia najlepšie precítiť vnútorné posolstvo našej Mierovej pochodne.

Morning run around the world in one minute.

Ranný beh okolo sveta za jednu minútu.

Our captain, isnt it a bit early to blow away our torch? It is still not the end of the day.

Kapitán, nie je ešte skoro sfukovať pochodeň? Veď ešte nemáme koniec dňa!

Football players from FC Iskra Hnúšťa are accompanying us to the town library in Hnúšťa.

Futbalisti z FK Iskra Hnúšťa nás doprevádzajú k mestskej knižnici v Hnúšti.

Members of Taekwondo club in Hnúšťa joined us lead by twins Tamara and Timea.

Member of the local council Mgr. Marián Petrok knows our Peace Run from the past when we ran through Tisovec still as World Harmony Run. He ran to the ceremony together with the football players.

Pán poslanec Mestského zastupiteľstva v Hnúšti Mgr. Marián Petrok pozná náš Mierový beh z minulosti, keď sme bežali cez Tisovec ešte ako World harmony run. Spolu s futbalistami pribehol na ceremóniu.

The town library also received a Certificate of Appreciation from us for their big help with organizing this event.

Together with our new Peace Tree, which is a rare Katalpa bignoviovita. Hnúšťa has one more old Katalpa which is in this year's competition for the Tree of the year - we are crossing our fingers!

Zoran, our Peace Run captain's cousin from Kokava nad Rimavicou came to support our Peace Run. The resemblance is there.

Náš Mierový beh prišiel podporiť aj bratranec nášho kapitána Zoran z Kokavy nad Rimavicou. Podoba tam je.

At the beginning of Klenovec village two bedminton players were waiting for us.

Na začiatku obce Klenovec na nás čakali dvaja bedmintonisti.

Gradually more and more children joined, among them female folk ensemble members. During the whole run through the village, the local amplifier was playing our anthem. It was wonderful!

Bolo to úžasné!

We tested the children if they can recognize the harmonious behaviour from the unharmonious one. We performed two skits according to which they had to guess.

Vyskúšali sme si deti, či vedia rozoznať harmonické správanie od neharmonického a predviedli dve scénky, podľa ktorých to mali uhádnuť.

The mayor Mgr. Zlata Kaštanová welcomed us in her village with open arms and despite the holidays she was able to inspire quite a few people to come to our ceremony - among them people from the community centre.

Pani starostka Mgr.

Members of the Vepor ensemble, who are holding the torch, also sang beautifully for us.

This young man with his young daughter is the son of the Mayor, so three generations were holding the torch.

Tento mladý muž je synom pani starostky so svojou dcérou, takže tri generácie si podržali pochodeň.

The mayor, to whom we are giving the Certificate of Appreciation, has a huge collection of cups from the whole world in her office. We were admiring it very much when we were organizing this event with her prior to our arrival.

Pani starostka, ktorej odovzdávame Ďakovný list, má vo svojej kancelárii veľkú zbierku hrnčekov z celého sveta, ktorú sme veľmi obdivovali, keď sme boli u nej vybavovať toto podujatie.

In the next village Kokava nad Rimavicou small kids from kindergarten awaited us with their beautiful drawings, which they painted for us.

Children´s hearts are full of sincerity. We have something to learn from them!

Detské srdcia sršia úprimnosťou. Máme sa od nich čo učiť!

In Kokava nad Rimavicou Zoran´s wife with their son Denis came for our ceremony, and then they also helped us with some kilometers.

The Mayor of the village Kokava nad Rimavicou Ing. Ján Chromek was the first one, who was interested in our Peace Run event, which gave us a lots of joy. We hope that we fulfilled his expectations.

Pán starosta obce Kokava nad Rimavicou Ing.

Here we run like crazy into the village Utekac / which in Slovak means something like run away.../

Tu utekáme o dušu do obce Utekáč!

And here we are even crawling...

A tu sa už tam len plazíme...

To run away in Utekac is very difficult, thereforewe had to take some rest.

Utekať v Utekáči nám dalo celkom zabrať, museli sme si trochu oddýchnuť.

Into the next village Lom nad Rimavicou we came little bit late because we had to overcome some hills, but the Mayor Mr. Jozef Katreniak together with his helpers were patiently waiting for us and welcomed us very warmly and smilingly.

Do ďalšej obce Lom nad Rimavicou sme trochu meškali, lebo sme museli prekonať pár kopcov, ale pán starosta Jozef Katreniak spolu s pomocníčkami na nás trpezlivo čakali a privítali nás veľmi srdečne a s úsmevom.

Behind this door the spring of the river Rimavica is hiding, which thanks to the Mayor became Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossom, because it symbolically connects many small and bigger streams into the one river Rimavica. In the same way Peace Run connects different cultures, religions and nations into one Home on Earth.

Za týmito dvierkami sa skrýva prameň rieky Rimavica, a ten sa vďaka pánovi starostovi stal Mierovým kvetom Sri Chinmoya, pretože symbolicky spája veľa potokov a potôčikov do jedného celku rieky Rimavica. A tak isto Mierový beh spája rôzne kultúry, náboženstvá a národy do jedného domova na Zemi.

The Mayor showed us his fitness when he sped up through the hill, that we almost could not keep up with him...

We have got new strenght from brothers Adamčovci who came all the way from Galanta in the western Slovakia to run with us through the hills that they do not have at home.

When we were coming to Detva, we had no idea, what an euphoria we will get from the performance of the Senior group Detva 3.

Keď sme pribiehali do Detvy, to sme ešte netušili, akú eufóriu v nás zanechá vystúpenie speváckej skupiny Senior Detva 3.

Here we were already swaying from side to side and singing with them, although we did not know the song.

Tu už sme sa pohupovali zo strany na stranu a spievali spolu s nimi hoci tú pieseň, čo spievali ani nepoznali.

And the highlight came when our team member Danica, who comes from this town Detva, came to sing with them the song which she was many times presenting on Peace Run ceremonies in country guessing game: "Na tej Detve studňa murovaná..."

A vyvrcholilo to tým, keď členka nášho tímu Danica, ktorá z Detvy pochádza, si išla spolu s nimi zaspievať pieseň, ktorou sa veľa krát prezentovala na ceremóniách Mierového behu: "Na tej Detve studňa murovaná..."

Peace Run was running through Detva several times and also this time the Mayor of the town made himself available and came to welcome us wholeheartedly, for which we are all grateful to him.

Cez Detvu už Mierový beh prechádzal niekoľko krát a aj tentokrát si nás pán primátor Ing. Ján Šufliarsky našiel čas a prišiel nás srdečne privítať, za čo sme mu nesmierne vďační.

In the presence of the members of Senior group Detva everybody feels that all of us is one big family.

V prítomnosti členov Senior Detva má každý pocit, že všetci sme jedna veľká rodina.

And one family picture at the end.

A ešte jedno rodinné foto nazáver.
