Bristol

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 12.0 km

Today we visit three schools in Bristol. The first is Cotham Gardens Primary School.

Then we run through Bristol.

This is the famous Clifton suspension bridge built by Isambard Brunel in 1831.

This is the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile in Brandon Hill.

The team stand by the statue of Raj Ram Mohan Roy, a great Indian reformer who is buried in Bristol.

At City Hall the runners are met by the joint leader of the Green Party in England and Wales, Carla Denyer. She has been a city councillor in Bristol since 2015.

Carla receives a gift of a Jharna Kala print from the runners. Jharna Kala is the name of the artwork created by Sri Chinmoy. It means 'Fountain Art'.

Carla is eager to run for Peace.

Arriving at Cathedral Primary School.

Robert from Hungary and Roni from Brazil demonstrate behaviour that is not peaceful.

Thank you Cathedral Primary School.

Our final visit of the day is to Blaise Primary school.
