Morning Beauty of Gualala River Redwood Park, one of the best campground and swimming hole combinations in California! The New York Times rated it the number two spot among the of the six best wild swimming spots in California.

The Cathedral Tree, in the centre of the campground, consists of 15 trunks of redwood trees growing in a circle around an open area. This phenomena, called a "fairy ring", is caused by the parent tree dying and decaying, leaving the sprouts that have grown into mature trees.

It feels great inside. Very special. Peace.

Thank you Gualala River Redwood Park for hosting us every time when we run around here! Managers Chris and Sarah remembered us passing through in 2018 and many times before!

We meet with David Torres, the photographer from the local newspaper, Independent Coast Observer. We introduced ourselves and sung him the Peace Run song.

Thank you David for stopping by and whole-heartedly embracing the Peace Run.

Scott Chieffo receives the Peace Run at Gualala Arts Center which, he explains, is mantained by good-hearted donors.

He holds the Peace Torch and receives the Peace Run Certificate of Appreciation.

Scott shows us around. Here we admire his astonishing photographs of nature.

Another scenic coastal run starts.

The flower-flame.

The biggest flower-flame of the day.

Varunavi heads off.

We meet happy road workers on our way.

The water is getting colder and colder as we run north. But we are not skipping such a beautiful beach.

Thank you for your kindness!

Welcome to the Run Gabriele!

We met some wonderful people at C.V. Starr Community Center. A big thank you to Monique Wooden for enthusiastically welcoming the team!

Pleased to meet this lovely community. Thank you for having us!

Kay is the owner of Wild Wood Campground, she is happily hosting our stay tonight.

Hello Wild Wood Campground! A little paradise.

Kay is moved to meet the whole team. We deeply appreciate your open heart for peace and our activities!

We are offering Kay an artwork by Sri Chinmoy, the founder of the Peace Run, to thank her for her incredible commitment in making this campground an oasis of peace. As we walk around it really feels a very very special place.

It is always exciting to hold the Peace Torch.

We arrive at Ravens Restaurant of Stanford Inn.

We are thrilled to see the special menu for us.

"Welcome Peace Runners! Planet-healthy cuisine for your body and mind..."

Happy Dinner time :) Everything on the menu is heavenly and delicious!

Exploring the cozy inn.

The workers get extra joy by holding the Peace Torch.

Thank you so much to owner, Jeff Stanford and his wonderful team at the Ravens for offering our team the most delicious cuisine every time we have come through over the last 12 years- We deeply treasure your kindness and generosity!

This is the best spot to see the sunset, with the coastal cliffs and sea waves.

Please send us a message, we would LOVE to hear from you.
