A lot of running lay ahead of us when we left Russia and entered once more into Lithuania.
Our team was about to take a few days break to attend in New York the official closing ceremony of the Peace Run in 2016. Still our Run in Europe will go on until October...
Today we covered the distance all the way to the border of Belarus. For a small team of 6 people 140 km are no joke...
...almost there...
...after 140 km running through scenic nature we were happy to take a break...
...we drove to Kaunas for a local meeting with Mr. Pranas Majauskas, the president of the Lithuanian Sport Museum.
...we passed the torch...
...and we got a guided tour....
...it is quite impressive to see all the athletic achievements from Lithuania. A small nation and so many great athletes!
