Paide - Kärstna

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 116.0 km

A good morning start from Paide brought us to Kirna. The place is a special energetic park. We enjoyed the serene nature...

..local runners from Türi awaited us and joined in...

...who or what is this?

Thank you for the welcome!

...the running continued...

...and we stopped in Kabala for a surprise meeting in the woods...

...a brass band awaited us...

...the band played our "World Harmony Run Song", printed on the back of the banner...

...and we reached Võhma. Another big surprise...

...Estonia is very much into running: despite the small population many people turn out to be amateur runners...

...a heartfelt welcome...

..the mayor welcomed us with kind words....

...in Suure-Jaani a group of Estonian and Polish football players awaited us...

...a quick presentation...

...the mayor received the torch...

...and another great musical performance....

...not to forget the most welcome refreshments....

..the Polish team passed the torch...

Thank you Suure-Jaani!

...the youngest runner of the day...

...as we reached Viljandi a cycling team, a rowing team, a skiing team and a football team awaited us.

...a very colorful run into Viljandi...

...at the sporthall the city representative and an Olympian rowing athlete greeted our runners...

...accordion and bagpipe...

Thank you Viljandi!

Andrea couldn't make it work....

...a big thank you to the police for escorting us safely!

...we reached Kärstna. A heartfelt welcome...

Thank you for hosting us and for the inspiring day!
