Welcome to Croatia! We started our day in a lovely place near the ferry terminal to Cres.
The sun was rising at 5 a.m.

Cres is a beautiful place with many hills, covered with trees, flowers and a gorgeous view!

...we went to the (only) school on the island. The mayor of Cres greeted us and the school gave us an enthusiastic welcome!

Our next meeting brought us to the Franciscan monastery on Cres.
The priest welcomed us...

...at the gasoline station you likely meet also ships...
...we can see the mountains at the main land of Croatia...
As we reached Mali Lošinj, a group of runners awaited us...

...a city festival was in process...
...we went on stage...
...and after a short presentation we passed the torch to the mayor...
...the mayor went for the "big tour": he gave the torch to everyone!
