Putu from Indonesia fills the Torch as the women's team gets ready for their early morning run to Ispwich.

Putu heads out on a relatively cool and cloudy morning.

Kshema from Ukraine is next, enjoying the green and endless fields of new corn.

Mananya enjoys her early morning run as they make their way to Roscoe.

Nayaja from Italy puts in many miles on the road each day as well.

In Roscoe the women's team is greeted by Mayor Leland Treichal.

This family ran a mile and a half with Nayaja. The children were tired but their mom is training for marathons and was quite ready to run some more.

After reaching Ipswich we said goodbye to Jim and Judy who were very kind and helpful to us at our stay at the Hospitality Hotel which they take care of.

Councilman Tom Schaeffer and our own Pujari Tom Scheaffer, (note the slight difference in the spelling of their last names), share the Torch at the City Offices in Ipswich.

Councilman Schaeffer and two of the employees, Amy and Michelle, join us for a photo. We are very grateful to them for coming out for us on this July 4 holiday.

Sarankhuu from Mongolia and his team meanwhile are running towards the town of Aberdeen.

They made a stop at Wylie Park in Aberdeen where they visited Storybook Land.

Here one is transported to their childhood with fun and fantasy.

Guardians of peace.

This team was interviewed by the local newspaper here in Aberdeen.

A peaceful warrior.

Somewhere under the Rainbow...

Pujari does his miles as he celebrates the United States Declaration of Independence.

Atul feels the heat and tries to drink enough to survive the mounting heat.

Stars and stripes forever.

Nayaja finishes washing the towels as she gets ready to join the rest of the women to visit some of the July 4 festivities at Wylie park.

Banshidhar and Pujari enjoy the 'go carts' at the park before the evening fireworks.

The women's team is ready for the water skiing entertainment after a long, hot day on the road.

A wonderful waterskiing demonstration was watched by hundreds of locals here to celebrate Indepencence Day.

The final human moving pyramid on water.

Stars and Stripes before the final fireworks display which is a tradition on July 4 in many towns and cities across the U.S.

Photos cannot do justice to the power and majesty of the colorful fireworks display.
