Many thanks to Quality Inn of Spartanburg for providing free rooms for our tired runners after a very hot day

We made some friends in the parking lot on our way out!

Lisa and her daughter, Maria, hold the torch and offer kind words and wishes for peace as they travel down to Florida.

Our team runs in to meet the children at the Montessori Academy of Spartanburg

Eager students welcome our Peace Run team!

Our map of the world offer children the opportunity to guess our runners' country of origin and locate them on the map, after we offer clues to where we come from.

Bright kids easily guess our countries. Seems like they have been studying their geography!

Finding peace in our hearts.

The teachers love to take part as well.

Funny skits showing peaceful and not so peaceful actions!

The children have to decide which kind of behavior this demonstrates as Preetiduuta pushes her competitors to 'win' the race.

This one was obviously judged as peaceful when two friends help Arpan up after twisting his ankle while running.

Due to some restrictions on social media photographing of some children, we had to take most of our photos from behind. But you can still see how excited the children were enjoying this ceremony.

The children also love our World Harmony Run Song with the corresponding moves to the words, composed by the Founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy!

Our Certificate of Appreciation and a colorful painting by Sri Chinmoy offering gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of Elisa Mroz and all the students and staff at the Montessori Academy of Spartanburg.

A beautiful 'Peace Around the World' collage created by and offered to us by the children.

The children then get to run on the Peace 'train' around the schoolyard, one of their favorite activities with us.

Under the bridges and back to the train station.

All the children get to hold the Peace Torch and offer a kind thought or wish for peace.

Thank you teachers, parents and staff for such a fun and friendly experience with you and your wonderful students today.

On the way out of the school we enjoyed seeing some very creative artwork by the children.

This school poster of Peace in many languages is symbolic of our message of peace around the world and friendship among people of all cultures to help establish a 'Oneness-Home'.

Jozsef and Arpan leave the school with more joy and peace in their hearts.

A Peace Pole in many languages on the grounds of the school offers a peaceful and colorful departure.

Puroga from Hungary is next to carry the torch to our final destination of the day.

Jozsef, also from Hungary takes his turn at running some miles towards the next school.

Meeting friendly locals offering their sweet smiles and peaceful wishes.

Virangini from Rhode Island, our main driver for the women's team, and excellent cook who recently joined  the team a few days ago, taking a break at the Hot Spot.

Our two Hungarians run in together into our next school ceremony.

The Fern Montessori School welcomes our team.

Uugana from Mongolia sings a sweet Mongolian song for everyone. After a few clues the children guess correctly her country.

Finding Hungary on the map where two of our runners are from.

This smart young man guessed Mexico for Santiva who just arrived a day ago to help us with our miles as we travel south and West.

Salil's imitation of a hopping kangaroo makes it easy for the children to guess Australia.

A moment of silence to feel peace in the heart.

The children take turns to entertain us with their wonderful poetry on the theme of peace.

Custom made Peace T-Shirts by the children.

Noel Easton, Director of this small but very sweet school school, kindly offers us drinks and pizza after the ceremony.

The children pass the Peace Torch to each other and make their own wishes for peace.

One of the school's volunteers the 'Peace Train' around the schoolyard with the children.

Passing under the 'bridge' on the 'Peace Train'.

We gladly presented the school with our Certificate of Appreciation and a colorful World Harmony Run painting by Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run, which began in 1987.

We are very grateful not only for their participation, but also for the wonderful hospitality everyone at this Montessori school offered us. it was an inspiring and uplifting way to end the day here in South Carolina.

Finally making our way to our accommodations for the night at the scenic and peaceful Watsadler Campground and Hartwell Lake in Hartwell, Georgia.

"A moment's Peace can and shall save the world." Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run
