Welcome to Montenegro, the country of the black mountains! The mountains were actually not black, but the sky was! Rain was pouring down in Bosnia on the last km before we crossed the border...
But as soon as we crossed the border, the sun came out. A nice welcome gift!
...we approached Pljevlja as local runners joined in...
..a local athlete carried the torch....
...and a traditional welcome...
...the city representative welcomed the team....
....a symbolic run!
Thank you Pljevlja for the warm welcome and the outstanding hospitality!
The next morning we continued our journey through the mountains...
...we stopped at the monastery in Zlates...
...Father Nikolai is taking care of the serene place...
Thank you for the heartfelt meeting!
...traditional coffee...
...approaching Bijelo Polje...
...a good media coverage...
..the city organised a relay run all the way to the main square...
...the last meters....
...the deputy mayor received us with kind words...
...we met children with special needs. A very nice program done by the organisation "Tisa"!
Thank you Bijelo Polje for the enthusiastic welcome!
...we went on...
...arriving in Berane...
...approaching the city hall...
...an excellent performance!
...both the mayor and the deputy mayor attended the meeting!
Thank you Berane for the inspiring meeting and the hospitality!
