Our first stop this Sunday morning was at Chorin monastery which has a long history. Sven Alhelm, the monastery's project leader for spiritual tourism, welcomes the team and likens our Peace Running to a pilgrimage and "praying with your feet".

Dr. Franziska Siedler, head of the administration of the monastery, also welcomed us - she had been busy with a local TV crew.
