Dudince - Nove Zamky

Reported by Danica Cernakova 76.0 km

We slept near Dudince, a famous spa town next to a beautiful sculpture park.

Spali sme pri Dudinciach- známeho kúpeľného miesta. Spali sme hneď pri nádhernom parku plného sôch.

The first meeting of the day was in the primary school in Dudince.

Prvé stretnutie dňa sme mali v základnej škole v Dudinciach.

..we also played the games with the kids again

..a znovu sme hrali s deťmi hry

..and also the kids could hold the torch and make a wish for somebody else - maybe kids on the other side of the world or their parents or other relatives or friends...

....a znovu si mohli deti podržať pochodeň a zapriať si neičo pekné pre iných- možno pre deti na druhom konci sveta alebo svojim rodičom či priateľom

Next meeting was in Horne Semerovce and as on all other places it was really very nice

Ďalšie stretnutie sme mali v Horných Semerovciach a tak ako na všetkých miestach aj tam to bolo naozaj veľmi pekné

On the beggining of the next village- Demandice, the Mayor Mr Kurthy and some runners were waiting for us. We moved to the playground of the primary school

Na začiatku Demandíc na nás čakali bežci s pánom starostom p.Kürthym a spoločne sme sa presunuli na ihrisko ZŠ.

There were moe kids waiting with their teachers at the playground

Tam nás čakali ďalšie deti s učiteľmi.

We got beautiful postcards made by students with peace doves and aphorisms about peace

Dostali sme nádherné pohľadnice na ktorých boli mierové holubice a aforizmus o mieri. Vyrobili to pre nás deti zo školy.

Mr.Mayor expressed his joy that we came to their village and spoke about the necessity of having peace among people and the world at large.

Pán starosta sa veľmi tešil, že sme sa zastavili aj v Demandiciach a mal veľmi pekný príhovor o potrebe mieru medzi ľuďmi a národmi.

With assitence of Mrs. Urbanová the vice principal we released the peace doves

S pomocou pani zástupkyne školy p.Urbanovou sme vypustili holubice mieru.

One of the boys not pictured read out: "Peace is when you can shake hands with your enemy and you mean it honestly. Peace is Life without fear. Peace is when before you go to school in the morning you can buy rolls in the shop without fear and you can read all that you want."

Jeden zo žiakov nám prečítal: "Mier je keď si dokážeš podať ruku dokonca aj so svojím nepriateľom a myslíš to úprimne. Život bez strachu. Mier je keď si predtým než ideš ráno do školy môžeš bez strachu kúpiť rohlíky v obchode a môžeš si čítať čo chceš."

The Principal of the school Mrs.Poliaková

After the program we had a delicious lunch at the school with Mr.Mayor and the Principal
