...our first meeting brought us to a local mountain race...
...many athletes gathered for the race over three different distances: 16 km, 31 km and 90 km, plus a children race...
...the altitude was quite a challenge...
...four runners from our team participated...
...here we go...
...after the start of the main event the kids got ready...
...we joined the race as well and carried the torch around the scenic course...
...after the race we presented the Peace Run to the kids...
...once more we met the mayor of Prilep. Thank you for the support!

...we visited the "Makedonium", the national monument of Macedonia...
...we got a "grand tour"...

...the original flag of the first Republic in 1903. The Republic lasted only 10 days, as the Ottoman Empire crushed it, but it laid the foundation for the future State of Macedonia.
