Yesterday was a travel day

Farewell the beautiful people of Tahiti.

Hello Rarotonga, Cook Islands!

The Peace Run is now in the capable hands of our Rarotonga coordinators Uddipan

and Nipura.

Where we will be eating food from their organic garden,

prepared in their self built home nestled on the side of the lush hills of Rarotonga.

Sunset on the 26th as we get ready for the Peace Run Cook Islands.

Ashcharjya felt it fitting to run first as he was the final runner in Tahiti.

Rarotonga is 31km circumference and the Peace Torch took a slow and joyful journey around.

Kim and John who turned around to meet the team.  Kim was thrilled to meet us, we are coming to her school in a few days.

There were many people who stoped and wanted to take a moment and hold the torch,

and make their wish for Peace.

Our new Kiwi friends who live not too far from one of our team member's home town.

Some of the most stunning road running the team has ever experienced.

Uddipan, our local coordinator, taking the Peace Torch.

As the Peace Torch neared the end of its journey today, Church was finishing

We met many more locals who wanted to hear about the Peace Run

and join the millions of people who have held the torch.

This will have to be some of the most beautiful running any of our team has done, with stunning and never ending postcard worthy vistas at every turn.

Thank you Rarotonga for your warm embrace, a perfect start to the Peace Run, and now some time for rest before tomorrow.
