Today we started the last two week section of our 2022 American Peace Run journey. Pictured holding the torch is our friend Databir wishing us good luck.
Santiva and Olivia were the first ones starting to run in the beautiful South County Trail. This trail is part of the Empire State Trail which connects New York City with the Canadian border via the Hudson River Valley Greenway and Champlain Canalway Trail and Albany with Buffalo via the Erie Canalway Trail. The Empire State Trail is the nation's longest multi-use trail for millions of New Yorkers and more to enjoy. Our team was so happy to enjoy it as well in this beautiful weather.
We are so happy to have Putu join our team all the way from Bali. Welcome to the team!
Bikers enjoying the day as well.
We found some friends along the way who wanted to make their own wishes for world peace.
The trails provided a lot of shade for us on this warm, sunny day.
Arpan running his miles and meeting some very sweet families along the way.
Harita so happy to be able to run in such beautiful place.
At the end of the day the women's team enjoyed delicious ice cream well deserved after completing our 27 miles. Well done team!
