This morning we visited IMDET - Instituto Municipal del Deporte Tijuana where we were kindly greeted by Director Adalberto Sanchez Velasco, Delegada Municipal Otay Juana Sandoval Partida and Director of LIMAT President of the Runners League Ruben Rojo.
Esta manana visitamos IMDET - Instituto Municipal del Deporte en Tijuana donde fuimos recibidos cordialmente por el Director de IMDET, Licenciado Adalberto Sanchez Velasco, Delegada Municipal Otay, Juana Sandoval Partida y el Director de LIMAT Presidente de las Ligas de Corredores, Ruben Rojo.
There were also children and adults of all ages who exercise and train in the facility to compete for all kind of races, from 5 k to marathons nationally and internationally. Sanmati, our local coordinator in Tijuana, explained to our audience about the Peace Run and how we run in relay passing the torch from person to person to bring the awareness that peace begins with each of us. She also explained that it will take us 4 months to run through North America.
Nos recibieron jovenes y adultos los cuales hacen ejercicio y entrenan para competir national e internacionalmente en todas clases de competencias, ya sea de 5 K o marathones. Nuestra coordinadora local Sanmati, explico' acerca de la Carrera por La Paz, Peace Run, que corremos en relevo pasando la antorcha de persona a persona para llevar el mensaje que la paz comienza con cada uno de nosotros. Tambien explico' que nos toma 4 meses el correr en Norte America.
The team showed the audience small sketches where we demonstrated the actions of harmony and disharmony. Here the boys demonstrating harmony helping one another.

Banshidar spoke about feeling peace in our hearts, when someone has peace we can share and spread peace with our family, people around us and the world.

After our ceremony we all share the peace torch.

After the ceremony we went outside to share the torch so everyone could make a wish for world harmony and run with the torch in the track and field.
Despues de la ceremonia salimos a compartir la antorcha para desear un mundo mejor de paz y a correr alrededor de la pista.
While running around the track I met Jessie, he competes in races and truly inspires everyone he meets, since he teaches us there are no obstacles to be athletic. Thank you Jessie!
Cuando corriamos por la pista encontramos a Jessie. El nos inspiro' mucho ya que el participa compitiendo y nos ensena que no hay limites para hacer uno atleta. Gracias Jessie!
We would like to thank our local coordinator Sanmati for such wonderful and inspiring events and being an amazing hostess for the team in Tijuana. We had a wonderful time and we will carry with us the kindness and sweetness of Mexico.
