We started our day by running to the city Condeixa a Nova. Our first stop is the ruins of Ruinas de Conimbriga where we met the museum director and kids joined us running from there.
Hoje começámos o nosso dia a correr até à Cidade de Condeixa-a-Nova. A nossa primeira paragem foi nas Ruínas de Conímbriga onde encontrámos o Director do Museu e onde algumas crianças correram com a equipa.

As we got closer to the place of our ceremony, more and more runners joined us.
À medida que nos aproximamos do local da próxima cerimónia, mais e mais corredores juntam-se a nós.

At one point, kids waited to cheer us on and had made these nice ribbons for us.

...and Isilda here ran the whole 2 km with us from the roundabout outside the city. She decided to join us after having learned about the Peace Run coming to Soure from the Mayor's website.

To top of their hospitality, the city of Soure invited the runners to a exquisite high-end lunch. It is rare that the Peace Run lunches in such a classy setting.
