For the third consecutive year, Regent Singapore continued to support us by providing free accommodation to our Peace Run team. Our heartfelt gratitude to General Manger, Mr Martin Sinclair, for stepping forward to show that Regent Singapore cares for peace.

Our morning began at NPS International School with Ankith and Veera carrying the torch into the auditorium.

We introduced the run and the spirit behind it and showed a short video highlighting some of our experiences around the world with the torch.

Dr. Matthew Sullivan, Head of the School, graciously received our certificate of appreciation.

Mr. Kriss Bhatt, Principal for the Secondary School, ensured everything went very smoothly.

Judith, from the Marketing and Communications Department, was on hand to make sure she captured the event.

Then we headed outside for some running.

As you can see this was lots of fun.

A final farewell.

Our next stop was the Sarada Kindergarten which is on the Ramakrishna Mission Grounds.

We arrived a little early so we took a few moments of silence in the meditation hall.

Statue of Sri Ramakrishna.

The kindergarteners formed a guard of honor for us to walk through. They knew about our visit from a video they saw earlier about the global event.

This was the K2 choir who performed a number of songs for us.

Salil spoke about the run.

We presented Swami Satyalokananda, Vice President of the Ramakrishna Mission and Manager of the school, with our Certificate of Appreciation.

We passed the torch and made a short prayer for world peace.

Once in Australia, someone asked a group of the children, ' so what do you think will happen if all the children in the world hold the torch and wish for peace? One little girl raised up and enthusiastically said, 'Our Wishes Will Come True!'

Junko of Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), happened to be on hand to discuss peace education for early childhood.

As was her colleague Silke.

Our final stop for the day: Masjid Al-Ansar kindergarten.

Peace means friendship and love.

The teachers eagerly held the peace torch, they were so thrilled by the experience.

Attentively they listened to Salil.

Let's play.

Daddy, I made my wish for peace, see.

Children are the future of the world. Learning about peace, loving peace and embracing peace are crucial life lessons which will lead them to become good citizens.

Look, mummy, that's me!

They ran around the mosque with the peace torch.

Mr. Zashid Bin Ahmad, the Chairman of the mosque, came forth to greet us and wish us success.

Peace brings us together.

There are far more that unite us than divide us. -Sri Chinmoy

We love peace.

Thank you for having us. May we meet again. May Allah bless us all.
