Banshidhar leads us on a busy road to Coventry.

The sun is shining once again.

We arrive at Coventry Cathedral.

Coventry is a city that was heavily bombed in the Second World War.

The Cathedral was almost completely destroyed - the remains have been kept standing as a reminder of the devastation of war and as a symbol of Peace.

An angel in Coventry!

We are greeted at the new Cathedral where the RISING Global Peace Forum is taking place. This is being attended by 200 delegates. Two Nobel Peace Prize Winners and two former heads of State opened the RISING Global Peace Forum this year.

From the left: Devashishu Torpy - European Peace Run Director, Lord Mayor of Coventry - Cllr John Blundell, Professor Mike Hardy - chair of RISING and executive director of the Centre for Trust, Peace, and Social Relations at Coventry University, John Witcombe - Cathedral Dean, Pru Porretta - Lady Godiva Sisters.

Pru Porretta from the Lady Godiva Sisters, who support the work and lives of women in the multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-faith community that exists in Coventry.

RISING was launched in 2015 as a partnership between Coventry University, Coventry Cathedral and Coventry City Council - with founding inspiration and sponsorship from Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Devashishu addresses the delegates and presents the message of the Peace Run - "we are all part of one human family".

This annual gathering brings international peacebuilders, policymakers and academics from around the World to Coventry. It is a two day forum sharing insights and exploring new ways of resolving conflict and of building sustainable peace.

The Lord Mayor offers a moving speech.

Delgates from Papua New Guinea hold the torch.

In the ruins of the old Cathedral the Peace Runners observe a Moment of Peace.

Running out of Coventry.

Ella George from Leamington runs with the torch.

The runners arrive in Royal Leamington Spa.

The Mayor, Councillor Heather Calver, greets us in the Town Hall parlour.

The Mayor and her husband.

This statue of Queen Victoria outside the Town Hall narrowly missed being flattened by a bomb in the Second World War. The whole foundation shook and now the statue is leaning slightly to one side. Queen Victoria was not amused.

The Mayor and her husband kindly take us on a tour of the nearby Gardens.

There are only 3 towns in England that have been given the title 'Royal'. Royal Tunbridge Wells, Royal Wootton Bassett and Royal Leamington Spa.

This is a memorial to three Czech heroes, who participated in Operation Anthropoid in 1942. They were trained in Royal Leamington Spa and air dropped into Czechoslovakia, where they assassinated the German governor, Reinhard Heydrich. They all lost their lives in service to their country.

Ella George receives a Certificate of Participation and poses for a photograph with her second cousins and Grand Uncle Torpy.

Running into Stratford-upon-Avon.

We are welcomed to Stratford by Ellis Creeze, Director of the Stratford Play House. Stratford is famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

The house where William Shakespeare was born and lived.

The Bard himself!

Ellis offers us a very colourful and dramatic insight into the life of William Shakespeare.

"In peace there's nothing so becomes a man than modest stillness and humility" - William Shakespeare.
