Tingha - Tamworth

Reported by Salil Wilson 170.0 km

Dawn at Green Valley Farm.

Special thanks to our hosts.

Leaving Tingha in style.

The women's team hits the road.

Great running conditions.

Friendly passerby.

Paramananda getting fitter every day.

The Big Golden Guitar. We're not sure if it is pure gold but it is impressive nonetheless.

Go Team Australia!!!

John Thomas very kindly came and met us at the Golden Guitar to lead us to the scout camp for our appointment for the day.

Camp Leader Cameron Baxter introduced us.

We all introduced ourselves.

A moment of silence.

We presented two of Sri Chinmoy's paintings. This one is entitled "Love the Children."

This one is entitled "Serve Humanity." Two sentiments which seemed appropriate for the scouts.

We had a big group photo.

Then we enjoyed just hanging out with our new friends.

We presented Cameron with Sri Chinmoy's book "Listen to Nature."

We tried vegemite, cheese and tomato on a Sao biscuit which some of us found delicious and others not so much.

The scouts gave us a great farewell.

The Venturas performed the Kangaroo dance.

Last selfie for the day.
