The first school today was 't Startblok in Cuijk, and it was one of the best we ever had! They had organised a wonderful, international presentation for us.
The whole school had come out to greet the Peace Run.
All the kids enthusiastically participated with our skits and games.
Like the one of Devashishu and Robert, getting ready for a race.
But foul play is involved! Is this peace? No!
The kids had also dressed up in costumes from different continents. This was a very Dutch farmer.
Naturally we passed around the Peace Torch to everyone.
And then we all ran a lap around the school for peace.
It was a truly unforgettable experience.
Many thank to principal Marco Janssen (left) for organising the reception.
Marco was also very happy with the peace painting we gave to his school.
Then we ran onwards towards the south.
A very Dutch backdrop!
We were received at the city hall of Asten.
Inside we were treated to refreshments.
Councilwoman Mrs. Spoor spoke to us about the importance of peace and the role it plays in their community.
The city hall very generously treated us to a dinner at the nearby restaurant 'Jan van Hoek'. We thoroughly enjoyed the food!
Running the last few K to the town of Sterksel.
In Sterksel we spent the night at the Kriya Yoga school, a very beautiful and peaceful location.
Many thanks to Peter van Breukelen from the Kriya Yoga foundation for hosting us.
