The Instituto Morano di Caivano is the recipient of the Torch bearer award in 2016 and the institue recived the Peace Run school Ambassador Certificate!

Peace run muffins were made by the kitchen staff which is all made up of students with and they added edible logo of the Peace run!
Director Carfora has recevied alot of well deserved media attention both national and international for working tirelessly to help stundents from poor neighborshoods to start a carreer and get out of the ghetto of Caivano and saving them from the life of crime and hopelessness!

We were escorted by by police through Scampia towards our next meeting!
We arrived at the Scampia´s Star Judo Club!
We met with the founder and owner Sensei Gianni Maddaloni and offerd him with great pride the Torch Bearer award for working tirlessly to promote Judo and healthy living as away to get people out of life of crime and from the grip of the Neopolitan mafia!
Sensei Gianni Maddaloni is not only the founder of the Star Judo Club but also the Master and father of Pino, gold medalist in Judo the the 2000 Sydney Olympics and today is the national Judo coach!
The movie ´´L´oro di Scampia´´ was produced by RAI the (Italian National Broadcasting Company) about Sensei Gianni Maddaloni´s life!
sensei Gianni opened in 2005 the gym has since then coached and offered services to thousands of young boys, girls, mothers and children supported by the local municipality and schools!
