Island Brac - Makarska

Reported by Roxana Magdici 50.0 km

Are you ready for the forth day of the Croatian Peace Run? The runners cannot wait to start it!

Few drops of rain make the first meeting more exciting at Nerezisca School. Children between 5 and 9 years old cheer for the international team and are happy to join fun games.

Students run with the peace torch to the different continents, embodied by the team members, giving 'hi five' and mining pinguins in Antarctica, cangaroos in Australia, horses in Europe, elephants in Africa, bears in Asia and eagles in America.
The Peace Run Team is so much fun! Kids ask when it will be back again!

We are all one big Family! And so we pass the Peace Torch to each other, bring to the fore our best qualities!

Thank you so much for such a great meeting!

Local people feel can connect with their inner Joy at the passage of the Peace Flame...

100% happiness!

The upcoming Mayor Mr. Svemir Oblinovic in Nerezisca is glad to welcome the Team, offerings to every member pure local olive oil. He is surrounded by Peace and, hopefully, he will remember this moment every time he makes a decision for his community.

The Mayor and the International President of the Peace Run, Salil Watson, share a smile for Harmony.

They said "The last ones will be the first ones"...

How can a pine tree start growing after hundreds of years on a 17th century old church? The miracle of Life...

Inside the small but powerful church...

The post officer offers a wish for peace.

Our next school was primary school "Stjepana Ivicevica"!

A wonderful and warm welcome comes from a teacher singing 'Imagine' of John Lennon. Goose bumps shiver all peace run team members, such is the intensity of the song!

So powerful the feeling of holding such a torch!

Thank you so much for such a wonderfull meeting.

The Team sings a special birthday song composed by Sri Chinmoy for Chiara's 13th birthday!

The day ends on Makaraska, where the runners enjoy a walk down the beach before going to sleep.

What will next destination be? Stay tuned...
