The founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy, was a renaissance man. As well as dedicating his life to Peace for humanity, he was a prolific poet, musician and artist. His paintings are called Jharna Kala (Fountain Art), and they are being exhibited in 14 places around the city of Palermo as part of this Week of Peace.

I suoi dipinti si chiamano Jharna Kala (Arte della Fonte) e sono esposti in 14 luoghi della città di Palermo come parte di questa Settimana della Pace.
The title of the city-wide exhibition is 'Paintings of World Peace and Harmony'.
Il titolo della mostra per tutta la città è "Dipinti per la Pace e l'Armonia nel Mondo".
The paintings are on two levels of the airport, the Departures and the Arrivals level.
I dipinti sono su due livelli dell'aeroporto, il livello Partenze e Arrivi.

In the evening, the music group Mountain Silence offer a concert of Peace at the Chiesa del Gesu (called also Casa Professa), a magnificent church in the heart of Palermo, one of the five most famous ones in Italy for its Baroque stile.
Alla sera, il gruppo musicale Mountain Silence offre un concerto di pace presso la Chiesa del Gesù (chiamata anche Casa Professa), una magnifica chiesa nel cuore di Palermo, tra le cinque più famose d'Italia per il suo stile barocco.
The priest said after the concert, that he has never heard such beautiful music. From his speech: "We go inside... We are too busy with so many things. They took us away from our worries and anxieties; they alleviated us from many thoughts. We contacted our deeper self."
Dopo il concerto, il sacerdote ha detto che non ha mai sentito una musica così bella. Dal suo discorso: "Entriamo dentro... Siamo troppo presi da tante cose. Loro ci hanno portato lontano dalle nostre preoccupazioni e ansie, ci hanno alleggeriti da tanti pensieri. Siamo venuti più a contatto con il nostro io profondo."
