On September 11th the Peace Run visited a Montessori school in Aix en Provence in the south of France.
The Peace Run had been scheduled to visit here in March, as part of the continuous route through Europe.
The school were eager for the Peace Torch to be brought to the children as originally planned.
The children at this wonderful Montessori School had produced many beautiful paintings for the Colors of Peace programme. Those paintings will have been exhibited at the Colosseum in Rome on the United Nations day of Peace.
Offering a prayer for Peace in our world. The value of these prayers and moments of Peace are immeasurable.
There are 102 students at this Montessori school, from Kindergarten through High School.

A tree is dedicated to Peace in the name of the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy.
