Welcome to Croatia dear friends! :)

Dobro dosli u Hrvatsku dragi prijatelji! :)

Passing the Torch from Hungary to Croatia...

Predaja baklje...

We took a group photo before we said goodbye to our Hungarian team! Thank you so much for your heartfelt wishes. We will carry them with us all the way...

Nositi cemo ih s nama cijelim putem...

We felt lucky, there is no hills in this area, so our first steps were quite easy...

... just long, lonely roads...

...samo duge, usamljene cese...

...ideal for riding a bike..

...idealne za bicikliranje...

...but also for running...

...takodje i za trcanje...

Although signs were showing there was danger of animals on the street, we didn't met any...

...we continued together toward city Beli Manastir...

...boys speed it up. Like they are practicing for Olympics! :)

...decki su ubrzali. Kao da treniraju za Olimpijadu!

It was national holiday, so we were very grateful that representative of the city had a time to meet us!

We exchanged gifts...

Razmijenili smo darove...

...and we took together a few symbolic steps...

...potrcali zajeno par simbolicnih koraka...

90 kilometers of running were ahead of us...

90 km trcanja su bila ispred nas...

...but with good team nothing is difficult...

...ali sa dobrim timom nista nije tesko...

Along the way we met some sunshine in a human form! Your smiles keeps us going...

Na nasem putu smo susreli dva sunca u ljudskoj formi! Vasi osmjesi nam pomazu da nastavimo...

Sweet unexpected meeting on the street! Thank you for your kindness and encouragement!

Slatki, neocekivani satanak na cesti! Hvala za vasu ljubaznost i ohrabrivanje!

...flags were flying, as well as we...

...zastave su letjele, kao i mi...

...reaching the town of Belisce...

...dosli smo do Belisca...

Kids were waiting us! Thank you for such a nice welcome...

Djeca su nas docekala! Hvala puno za tako lijepu dobrodoslicu!

Today was first day of summer holidays, so schools were closed, but that didn't stop kids for meeting us. A lots of thanks for running with us!

Neizmjerno vam hvala sto ste trcali s nama!

...every few hundreds of meters a new groups of kids were joining us...

Thank you for your kind support!

Hvala na ljubaznoj podrsci!

...we reached a meeting place...

...dosli smo do mjesta sastanka...

...and continued to play with kids...

...i nastavili se igrati s djecom...

...after a lot of excitement we took a moment to find a peace in our heart...

..everybody passed the torch...

...svi su držali baklju...

Thank you for your lovely dance!

Hvala na drazesnom plesu!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful meeting!

Hvala Vam puno na tako predivnom sastanku!

The fastest runner from Portugal against the fastest runner from Belisce. Can you guess who won? :)

Najbrzi trkac iz Portugala protiv najbrzeg trkaca iz Belisca! Jel mozete pogoditi tko je pobijedio?

We really enjoyed your hospitality and friendship! We will be back for sure...

Stvarno smo uzivali vasu gostoljubivost i prijateljstvo! Vratit cemo se sigurno...

...a new groups of runners joined us...

...nove grupe trkaca su nam se pridruzile...

....and continued with us running to city Valpovo..

...i nastavile sa nama do Valpova...

Temperature was climbing...

Temperatura je rasla...

...so we hide ourselves under the tree..

...pa smo se sakrili pod drvo...

...and enjoyed a wonderful singing performances! Thank you for the music!

...i uzivali u predivnim pjesmama! Hvala za muziku!

...a lovely lady wish us all the best...

Thank you so much for such a lovely meeting...

Hvala Vam puno na tako drazesnom sastanku...

...it was time to get back on the road...

In order to be faster, we split a team and proved that "all roads lead to Rome"! Although 3 runners accidentally took tree different roads ...

tri razlicite ceste...

...we reached Djakovo together and on the time! We met a local runners who joined us all the way to city center. Thank you for such a nice welcome!

...running trough the city ...

...trcali smo kroz grad...

The Croatians proofed to be really athletic: in each place we had runners who carried the torch into their community.

...our theatrics performances...

...nase teatralne predstave...

...always make kids smiling...

...uvijek nasmijese djecu...

Will we leave our friend on the floor?! No, we will help him, even if he is very, very heavy...

Together we are stronger...

Zajedno smo jaci...

Thank you everybody for a perfect day!

Hvala svima na savrsenom danu!
