Principal Nasser Yousefi of The Peace School in Thornhill, invited us to give a session on meditation at an open house.
The one hour session began with practicing meditation techniques and continued with a presentation on the Peace Run which included singing our songs and passing around the Peace Torch.
There were about 20 participants of students (kindergarten to Grade 6), parents, and staff. The audience were very receptive and seemed to enjoy the experience of peace and singing the World Harmony Run song with actions.

We spent some time afterwards talking to the school staff and were happy to find how harmonious their goals are with our own. The school is affiliated with the Children’s Peace Education Centre. (CPEC), which references the UN. Visit The Peace School website to learn more.
