We had to hold the event indoors due to the intense heat.

We went to a traditional Soba restaurant for lunch.

お昼に行ったお蕎麦屋さん。

Makiko Izawa, the owner of the restaurant, was a participant in the women's 200 meters race at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

お蕎麦屋さんの女将さんの伊澤まき子さん。1964年の東京オリンピック女子200メーターの出場選手。

Apparently she also provided guidance to the Mahoroba Athletic Club, who had joined the events the day before.

前日に参加してくれた『まほろばアスリートクラブ』への指導も行っているそうです。

We received coconut macaroons as a souvenir.

In the afternoon we went to Takahata Junior High School, which was the goal of the previous day, and were given a tour of the school building.
