Jeff Parkinson is an engaging and energetic race organisor.

We start our road running where we left off - Pukekohe East.

Later that evening the runners are treated to delicious food and great entertainment at the Hungry Elephant, Matakana.

Live entertainment is provided by Monk Party.

A one mile course beside the Waikato River is dedicated as a Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile, linking it with others in New Zealand and around the world.

These ladies from Tauranga are thrilled with the torch and the story behind it. They have recently entered a big marching event and have their own story to tell.
