Edinburgh - Clachan of Campsie

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 43.0 mi

Another beautiful day along the Firth of Forth.

Anita leads us west through the rolling hills.

In Falkirk the main street is busy with Saturday shoppers.

Blackberries and brambles everywhere!

Uranta and Urmila.

Behind are the Campsie hills.

Our destination is the convent and retreat centre, Schoenstatt, run by the Sisters of Mary.

This convent is set in the most beautiful environs.

In the evening we are hosted by Pat and Rod, old friends of Adarsha who is coordinating the western route in Scotland.

We are very grateful to Pat and Rod for their wonderful hospitality.
