We had a great start to the day when we had a spontaneous opportunity to meet the friendly and kind-hearted Mayor of Kyoto, Mr. Daisaku Kadokawa.
The Mayor officially opened the Everybody's Sports Festival with a great speech.
We are very grateful to the Mayor's office for their tremendous support of the Kyoto Peace Run. Mr. Kadokawa loves his city and has served as Mayor for many years. The beauty and friendly atmosphere of Kyoto is a true reflection of the Mayor and his leadership efforts.
連休最終日、チームは再び西京極総合運動公園へやってきました。今日は京都市体育協会が主催する「みんなのスポーツフェスタ」にブース出展です。開会式にいらした門川大作京都市長にご挨拶、一緒に記念撮影。もう十年市長職についてらっしゃる門川市長は笑顔を絶やさず、着物をまとい、とてもフレンドリーで、日本の文化と京都の発展のため献身的に様々な市民の集まりの場に足を運ばれます。

In the evening we had a special event: A talk by one of the team members, Abhejali from Czech Republic. This past march, she became the 10th person in the world to have completed swimming all the 7 most difficult channels of the world known as Oceans Seven. Today's public talk was about her self-transcendence through swimming the channels, and her self-management techniques.
今夜はメンバーの一人、チェコのアベジャリの特別トークがありました。アベジャリは去る3月、オーシャンズ・セブンと呼ばれる世界最難関の７海峡を全て完泳、というのを達成したばかりです。世界で10人目、女性では4人目、内陸国出身者では初の偉業です。今日はこのスイムのために実践したセフル・マネジメント術、そして泳ぎを通したセルフ・トランセンデンス（自分を超える）というテーマでトークを行いました。
