Today we visited Mokau School. We were warmly welcomed by the school's motto "Together we can do it".
Eagerly they learned the Peace Run song with us.
We all felt peace in our hearts.

Our next stop - Ahititi School. The school has a warm family feeling.

Then we headed outside to hold the Peace Torch and make a wish for peace.

After that we were welcomed to Uruti School, another sweet country school with a warm family feeling.
We acted out a skit for the kids. A moment later Preetidutta was pulled down by her hair, so Hastakamala could win the race. Children had to show us if they thought it was peaceful or not.

In New Plymouth we met with Mayor Neil Holdom.
We had an inspiring and illumining conversation about the history of New Plymouth and the responsibilities of being a mayor. In this photograph Neil is blowing a special horn hand carved for the mayor of New Plymouth by a local Maori artist.
Neil even let us wear his official Mayoral attire- Hastakamala got a taste of how it feels to be a mayor!
