Harita heads out with the Peace Torch for an early morning run with one of the women's teams.

Varunavi also enjoying the cool and clear Pacific Coast air as she carries the Peace Torch in the morning.

Running along the Pacific coastline offers a wide variety of beautiful scenery and panoramic views.

Some of the local 'residents' of the coastal rocks along the Pacific Ocean.

The powerful Pacific.

A common occurrence in the misty mornings along the lush and green coastline.

Pujari goes out first for the men's team later in the morning as the sky begins to clear.

Escorted by Dolplhins! A common sight as we run along certain sections of the Pacific Ocean coastline heading north out of Los Angeles.

Pransukh takes the Peace Torch next as we head north.

Two happy runners finishing by the rocky Pacific Ocean coastline.

Arpan takes the torch next on his first run since returning to the team this morning.

Our first stop of the day is in the city of Carpinteria at the Aliso School.

Arpan finishes his scenic run at the school's beautiful mural.

Salil introduces the Peace Run team to over 300 children and teachers.

Getting the children to guess which countries each of our team members are from.

Virangini is from the smallest state in the United States: Rhode Island.

Our torches are sometimes adorned with 'flower-flames' in lieu of the usual flame due to restrictions on fire along the California coast.

Roxana leads everyone on an exercise of feeling peace in the heart and spreading it to all those around us.

We offer short skits portraying either good and peaceful behavior or ...

...not so good behavior which the children have to judge.

Principal Brett Weiberg accepts our Certificate of Appreciation on behalf all of the teachers, staff and students at the Carpinteria School.

Principal Weiberg leads all of the children around the track for a Peace Train.

The children naturally love to run especially when they have an opportunity to feel like they are spreading peace and having fun at the same time. It was a long trek and they just kept going for a few laps.

A happy teacher with our 'flower' Peace Torch. We are so grateful to everyone who shares their hopes, dreams, wishes and prayers for peace as we run through their communities.

More friendly locals who we met along the way to various destinations today.

Before reaching our accommodations for the night we make sure our vehicles are clean and ready for the next day of running for Peace.
