Herzogsdorf - Gramastetten

Reported by Dipavajan Renner

Welcome to the "Mühlviertel"! This region of Upper Austria is famous for its beautiful countryside and nice people. Today we got proof of both...

In Herzogsdorf the children of the primary school and the Kindergarden gave us an enthusiastic welcome...

The kids joined us for a run to the local church...

...the priest welcomed the peace runners...

...to run downhill was quite fast..

Thank you Herzogsdorf for this great meeting!

...an inspiring run through the serene country side....

...shortly before Neußerling childen from the primary school awaited us eagerly...

..we passed the torch to them and together we started the 500m-climb to their school...

..the last metres...

Thanks for the friendship!

Gramastetten was the final destination for the day. Children from the primary and secondary schoollined up and gave us a colorful welcome....

...we ran spontaneously around the sport field...

...a representative from the community and the principal took the torch together...

..after the group picture a final run across the field....

Thank you Gramastetten for the warm welcome!
