Today we visited Mokau School. We were warmly welcomed by the school's motto "Together we can do it".

After that we were welcomed to Uruti School, another sweet country school with a warm family feeling.

We acted out a skit for the kids. A moment later Preetidutta was pulled down by her hair, so Hastakamala could win the race. Children had to show us if they thought it was peaceful or not.

We had an inspiring and illumining conversation about the history of New Plymouth and the responsibilities of being a mayor. In this photograph Neil is blowing a special horn hand carved for the mayor of New Plymouth by a local Maori artist.
