This morning started out with getting into our formal clothes to meet with the Governor General of The Bahamas.

Being received by HE Sir Arthur Alexander Foulkes at Government House.

We were honored to be able to present our Peace Run Torch-Bearer award to His Exellency for his dedicated service to The Bahamas as well as to the international community.

After the formal proceedings we had an opportunity to share our experiences with His Excellency in the cabinet room.

Cathy Oerter shared some of her work with Art of the Olympians a wonderful foundation dedicated to demonstrating the very real relationship between art and sport. Cathy founded Art of the Olympians with her late husband Al Oerter Olympic legend and four time gold medalist.

We also presented Governor General Folkes with Sri Chinmoy's book Jewels of Happiness.

Later we called in at the Junkanoo Beach Resort to thank the General Manager and staff for their hospitality in hosting some of our team during our stay in The Bahamas.

We had a break before the next event so the women's team took the opportunity to have a swim and a walk along one of Nassau's many beautiful beaches.

This evening we had a function at the beautiful new Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.

Ms. Oria Wood-Knowles welcomed us.
