We are very grateful to Ben, Bruce (pictured with his grandson Sam) and Clasien Fraser of Napier Garden Motel for the complimentary stay. It was most appreciated.

Sean getting ready to run after his hot cup of coffee. We have just watched the sun rise over the Pacific Ocean.

Nelson Park School here we come.

We are very honoured to have Councillor Maxine Boag from the Napier City Council join us at Nelson Park School and she gives a very insipiring talk to everyone present.

Principal Sue Bewley receiving a painting by Sri Chinmoy and a certificate of appreciation from the Peace Run team.

We are pleasantly surprised when some of teachers come to the stage and sing a peace song for us. Led by Ms Frances Peacock, they give a very uplifting performance.

Jim and Ailsa entertain the audience with a funny skit to illustrate what is peace and what isn't peace.

Bledisloe Primary School is our next stop.

Student leaders come out to welcome us at the entrance of the school and lead us into the school hall.

"May each and every individual each day have a new dream of world harmony." -Sri Chinmoy

A moment of peace in the heart.

Principal Carol Bevis is delighted to receive our gifts for the school.

Our last school for the day is Marewa School.

Principal Chris Meynell receiving some gifts for the school from Niryana.

As we run along the road, we meet this very nice couple. They are so happy to see us.

Towards the end of the day, we go to Te Mata Peak and enjoy the most breathtaking scenery.
