Morning began early for the first team on the road. The assignment was to run 32 miles before lunch.

Meanwhile, the second team arrived at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir. We received an invitation to attend the Diwali Festival of Lights Ceremony.

After the ceremony, the team enjoyed sharing the torch with fellow Diwali attendees and staged some races with young peace enthusiasts.

Young hindus already know the value of sharing and giving. The young friends easily shared the torch with each other. They would be welcome teammates on the road across America.

The Peace Run team is so thankful to Mitesh Patel, Dr. Kalpesh Patel, Dr. Uday Pankh, and Pinkesh Patel for the graciousness and goodwill.

The whole team is able to come together at the BAPS Mandir. Our gracious hosts then provided an amazing meal for us at the BAPS Shayona.

Then the womens team was given a tour by Jaibala Rabal. She was an excellent and gracious example of how peace and self giving can bring satisfaction in life.
