Today the Widiatmika Bilingual school in Jimabaran gave us a wonderful welcome.

We began the event with a special dove release.

We were delighted to visit the school as a partnership project with Rotary District 3420.

Our MC was Ms. President of Rotary Club of Bali Taman Ms. Aini Cahyani.

Students performed a beautiful welcome dance which always transports us to the spiritual essence of Bali.

One of the representatives of Widiatmika Foundation officially welcomed the team.

Prince Dipokusumo was enjoying the ceremony.

We had team members from over 20 countries.

A moment's Peace.

Peace Run Executive Director Salil Wilson read out some of Sri Chinmoy's observations about Bali.

Adityo, son of Prince Dipokusumo and Princess Febri served as translator.

"Of all the places I have visited in the last 15 or 16 years, Bali is undoubtedly the best. It has everything: sincerity, simplicity, purity, humility and peace. Is there any divine quality missing here?

Even outwardly it is ok what zero so beautiful. You can see how r the little cottages and villages in pare. They have such simplicity!

Bali has maintained most of its pristine purity. You don’t even have to meditate here; nature will meditate on your ibehalf. Early in the morning it Nth sd
you walk around the villages, their divine qualities will enter into you and you will become a different person. Here in Bali, nature herself will accelerate your inner progress!

This place is Heaven on earth."

The students were encouraged to create artwork expressing what peace means to them.

Members of our Czech team challenged the students to guess where they were from.

Our Guatemalan team-mates

Wahyu comes from Surakata in Java.

Our hearts were full.

Sravana and Subarnamala performed a juggling act demonstrating cooperation.

This young man, Dave, in the pink t-shirt was very knowledgeable in our country guessing game.

Dave wanted to meet someone from England. Mridanga from Ipswich was able to grant his wish.

Pragati presented one of Sri Chinmoy's books entitled "Jewels of Happiness". It has been translated into Bahasa.

Harita lights a birthday cake celebrating Princess Febri's birthday.

Salil was presented with the first piece of cake.

District Governor receives a copy of "Jewels of Happiness".

We passed the torch.

Agraha, with the help of Dave, led the students in a spirited rendition of a famous Indonesian children's song "Disini senang disana senang".

Students took time out to express what peace means to them.

They then pinned up their artistic creations for everyone to see.

Shatadal from Austria, a professional videographer, took time to show some students his video equipment.

Lunthitha and Rotary members hold the torch.
