Our first stop is YMCA Camp Gladiator at Elroy Elementary School in Brentwood, just outside of Pittsburgh. Annamarie, staff and the kids welcome us at the basketball court.

Final steps to reach the Gazebo at Veterans Memorial Park. While entering, we were delighted to see that the Clarion Fire and House even hung the American flag for the day.

We were so honored and delighted to be welcomed by a big crowd of Clarion residents! A big thank you to Council President, Carol Lapinto for welcoming us, and Chief Administrative Officer/Borough Secretary, Linda Lavan-Preston, for helping orgsanise the event. An array of snacks was prepared by the Clarion Kindness Project and each runner received a goodie bag courtesy of the City. Thank you!

Congratulations to husband and wife team, Joseph Croskey and Kathy Ellwood, who both received Torch Bearer Awards for their dedication to their community. Everyone agreed they should receive the award for working together hand in hand to support their community. They both have a lifelong dedication to peace and strive every day to inspire others. Joseph in countless ways, including as a peace and purpose facilitator at the United Nations and Kathy as a coach and mindfulness facilitator at Gannon University.
