The Peace Run joined the popular Earth Day Festival held in Union Square, New York City. Dozens of people - including schoolchildren, environmental activists and concerned citizens - held the Torch and made a wish for peace. Many also took home magnet cards with inspirational messages from Listen to Nature: Living in Harmony with the Earth, a book of writings by Peace Run founder Sri Chinmoy.

This book will go in a little library on Staten Island
