The 'City of Brotherly Love',Philadelphia, opened it's welcoming arms to the Peace Runners today.
Having a nice place to stay overnight and rest up for the next day of running and meetings is important to us. The women's team were kindly hosted by Four Points Hotel by Sheraton in Philadelphia. We are very grateful to have a nice place to rest after a long day of running and ceremonies.
The men's team was kindly hosted at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in Trevose near Philadelphia.
Our first school of the day was at a school complex called Girard College. It combines elementary and high school educational facilities in a large and beautiful campus. The auditorium was packed with enthusiastic peace-loving children.

Meredith School Principal, Cindy Farlino, stands with three students who were chosen to receive the Torch Bearer Award. The recipients of this award have demonstrated the qualities of peace and understanding as they serve the community in their own individual ways.
The Certificate of Appreciation was offered to students and teachers at the Meredith School.

Our RV, or recreational vehicle, which is used for storage and cooking, is traveling home away from home, our oneness-home.

The final ceremony of the day was at the Claymont Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington, Delaware.
Our women's team conducted a sweet ceremony with the children who were enthusiastically participating, along with the happy staff members.
