A new friend and peace lover
The team was received by this beautiful artwork when we arrived at the Atlanta Montessori International School.
We were greeted by a fun and interactive group of young people. They had lots of exceptional questions.
And a hope for a more peaceful world beginning with themselves.

After the formal event, the students were ushered outside for the display of banners and peace train.
So many students had personal torches to carry, made before we arrived.

Over 450 young people and teachers welcome us to their school.

The runners greet Lieutenant Cooke and the Carroll County Fire Station 2 on their way through Temple, GA.
Our final stop of the day was to meet Mayor Rudy Rooks and the City of Heflin, AL. It was a warm and homey welcome into Alabama. Mayor Rooks says "I can’t think of another place I’d rather live than the beautiful city of Heflin. All the staff was exceptional. We made a great friend in City Clerk Shane Smith.
